Feel clear and confident about your direction in life!
Your Enneagram type can help you find your calling.
The Enneagram is a map. On this map are marked nine buried treasures full of jewels like Goodness, Unconditional Love, and Clarity. On this map are also nine different obstacles blocking access to the treasures, like the Raging Rapids of Resentment, the Pit of Pride, and the Desert of Disconnection.
One of these nine buried treasures is your birthright, and your heart contains the key.
Knowing your Enneagram type tells you which direction to head to find your buried treasure.
But heading in the right direction isn’t enough.
The Raging Rapids of Resentment might carry you downstream. You might fall headfirst into the Pit of Pride. You might wander around lost in the Desert of Disconnection. (And there are six additional hazards to watch out for, too!)
That’s where I come in. I’ll be your guide.
I’ll help you navigate the territory between you and your treasure. I’ll point out the hazards and help you steer clear of them. I’ll show you the quickest route I know to take you directly to those precious jewels your heart is longing for.
I’ll help you find your path.
Can you say that again without metaphors, Pace?
Yes! I can help you:
- Take charge of your life
- Avoid burnout
- Stop beating yourself up
- Feel compassion, patience, and gentleness toward yourself
- Ask for and get a more satisfying job
- Stop undercharging your clients
- Get your needs met in relationship
- Break the pattern of pleasing others and then feeling resentful about it
- Practice saying “No” to take better care of yourself
- Stop taking others’ actions personally
Those are actual results my clients have obtained from exploring their Enneagram type with me. In their own words:
Pace helped me understand my Enneagram type (9) and as a result, I am taking charge of my life! I am now ending a 25-year marriage that was built on me pleasing another, but getting little in return. It has helped me go for a promotion at work, and get a more satisfying job. I feel powerful!
Plus, I am kinder to myself and others. I know that I can stop beating myself up because I am not perfect. I take others’ actions less personally when I can see them as part of their type. I now understand better how I can give myself compassion, and do the hard decision anyway: “I know that you have some lack of motivation right now, it makes sense that you feel some 9 sluggishness doing something in your best interest, but in the interest of self love, let’s do it anyway!”
The Enneagram is Pace’s secret weapon. She helped me see why my desire to PLEASE others, before myself, is a core motivation, but not always the best strategy. She listens well, gives empathy and cheerleading, but truly she knows that she has the universe on her side when she tells you here is what I see as your strengths, gifts, and you can do anything!
The Enneagram Exploration was equal parts contemplative, belly-laugh fun, incisive, and practical.
Pace helped me resolve a longstanding question (about my wing type) by gently turning me to face a part of myself that I’ve totally disowned. That’s pretty huge. And she did it without triggering my go-to shame response, which is even huger. I’d call that a major aha moment – both in the information Pace gave me, and the way she brought my awareness to it.
During our call I had several of those big aha moments, of the kind that typically require months of therapy or years of spare-time soul seeking.
I could go on: major insights about my relationship with my partner (that I know will be game-changing), an insight that helped me feel more compassion towards a family member, managing conflict, and the rewards of embracing things that are imperfect… I have lots of “homework” of the most delightful kind.
Pace is masterful at creating an open space for self-exploration; while she clearly has a profound understanding of the Enneagram as a tool, I never once felt pigeonholed or “stuck” in my type. On the contrary, through our conversation, I feel like I now have more options than I did before.
Pace can listen to what’s going on and, with a little heart magic, divine the shift you need to make from your false jewel to your shining True Jewel.
She helped me learn how to work with my Enneagram type (2) in a way that was supported by my efforts, rather than fighting my type!
This opened the door to huuuuuge inner work! I’m putting real, tangible effort into improving myself, and it’s yielding real, tangible results. I’m practicing supporting myself rather than falling along the down path.
Pace helped me discover my Enneagram type (1) and see how it was tying into issues I was having, and thus how to switch/reframe it. Now I know where some of my damage is, and what I can then work on to heal.
I like how Pace is super non-judgemental about the enneagram, and very willing to let her own type show and use that as a way to discuss it. It’s less about “this is how you’re wrong” and more about “this is kinda what you do. Is that what you *want* to be doing?” or “How are your habits a good thing?”, like a “your mess is your mission” kind of thing.
If I had never heard of the Enneagram, I would be bitchier, and more self-righteous. Now I do a better job of managing my self-talk. I’m more willing to look from other perspectives, and try not to focus on perfection.
Pace helped me find my Enneagram type (2) and see how it was influencing my life and business. She’s seen things in me that I wouldn’t have seen without her help, including why I burn out, why I over-deliver for my clients (and therefore undercharge them), and why I always want to say “Yes” to everything.
Now I’m practicing saying “No” and taking better care of myself and my business. I can already see and feel the difference.
After exploring my Enneagram type with Pace, I’m now better at communicating, expressing my needs, and understanding those around me. I have more patience and gentleness with myself, and it’s also really helped my relationship. For example, my partner now understands that I need praise and recognition (3) for tasks that he doesn’t need it for (9).
Now I can recognize unhelpful type-related behavior so much more easily. Then I can be gently amused at myself – ‘oh there I go again being such a 3’ – and break the spell.
Pace helped me find my type (1) and understand my tendencies.
Now that I know my Enneagram type, I feel more human and less faulty. I am kinder to myself and to others.
It’s still hard to manage frustrating relationships sometimes – I’m only new to this framework – but at least I have a key to move through with a little more insight and grace!
Here’s how it works.
- We’ll schedule a time to talk on the phone (or Skype), one-on-one, for 90 minutes.
- When we talk, I’ll ask you about your motivations, your hopes, and your fears. Our conversation is 100% confidential and I’m gentle and open-hearted, so it’s safe to open up to me.
- I’ll take the lead, and all you need to do is answer questions about yourself, so there’s nothing else you need to prepare in advance. Just find a comfortable place where you can talk without distractions, and you’re good to go.
- I’ll ask you how your Enneagram type has showed up in your life, both positively and negatively, both past and present.
- After we’ve talked for a while, I’ll take everything I’ve learned about you during our session, I’ll check in with my heart, and I’ll offer you my insight about your path, and one recommendation for a next step you could take on your path.
- I’ll ask you, “How does that land?” and give you some time to let it sink in, to ask any questions you have, or to share any concerns or resistance that comes up.
- And then we’re done!
What if I don’t know my Enneagram type? Then we’ll get rock solid on that first before we dive into the deep Pathfinding questions. I’ll give you some material to go over before our call, so we can make the best use of our time together.
Sounds awesome, how do I sign up!My usual coaching rate is $500/hour. In this Enneagram exploration, you’ll get a full 90 minutes one-on-one with me for only $197.
Right now, your personality patterns are running your life on autopilot. Choose to be who you really are!
