When I first started practicing Remembrance (and I hear this works for most spiritual and/or meditation practices too) it took some trust and faith to sit down and do it even when I didn’t feel like it, even when I didn’t get anything noticeable out of it.
Now, when I feel depleted, my heart is like, “Hey! How ’bout some Remembrance!” and I’m like, “Yeah, that sounds really good.” And I feel replenished, stronger, calmer, and more clear. It does take a while, but the benefits are SO AMAZING. It’s like magic pixie dust sprinkled all over my soul.
Moral of the story? Faith and trust before pixie dust. (:
